LAC Events
Our Events are held at a number of venues including our own city centre arts hub and showcase club projects by our resident artists. The purpose of these events is to celebrate, collaborate and discuss these artworks. Featuring a general key theme; the events are visual reflections of the discussions had amongst Artists and Lawyers.
Our artists present their work to the public in an exhibition. These events are particularly exciting as it allows the artist to debut their hard work in a lively environment. By hosting these events it allows us to introduce the rising stars of Birmingham’s art scene.
We curate a visually immersive and aesthetically friendly ambience at each event. LAC events unite like-minded individuals in thought-provoking discussion.
Previous events have tackled: Vaccinationism, Ask for Angela and Law on the Wall. We are regularly expanding our network of local artists, creatives and legal professionals.
What you can expect from an LAC event:
At our events you can expect remarkable artwork, stimulating discussion and live music.
Our events may differ slightly based on the nature of the discussion. At our Ask for Angela event, a panel of significant people of interest were able to clarify and provide insight to this sensitive topic. While at our artist exhibitions there is more of a casual environment of music and lively discussion.
One thing that never changes is the undeniable quality and conversation available from the artwork on display. Our artists are each unique in their style and this is communicated in the way they create their own distinct pieces.
LAC events are always well refreshed, engaging and professional.
Previous Events by the Lawyers Arts Club:
Digbeth Art Space is where the Lawyers Arts Club held their very first exhibition, displaying; Law On The Wall, Legal Cartoon's and Vaccinationism.
Lawyers Arts Club hosted an Open Studio's at their new office above the legendary Cherry Reds, where Jack Tyson-Charles (a dynamic soul singer from London) performed.
After a rise of spiking around the UK Lawyers Arts Club felt that this was an opportunity to help raise awareness. Three of our female artists created posters to be displayed in venues across the Midlands.
