About Us

Lawyers Arts Club is an organisation that blends Art with knowledge of the Law. Founded by an Artist and a Lawyer we provoke discussions, using the artwork as a vessel for change.  We are a private members club that connects legal and creative professionals in a unilateral working environment.

Some of our members attend to create and collaborate on art projects and legal discussions. Others just like to attend our events to network, party, and relax.

We are building a global network of members that come together as a collective of expert minds in the law and the arts. Perks for members include access to events, courses, collaborations, club projects, original artworks, limited editions and NFT's.

We strive to promote the artists of tomorrow by offering an environment for them to flourish and learn. By recruiting through government funded programmes like the Kickstart Scheme, we can offer paid experience to our Artists.  

The LAC create events for our members to share in our passion for the arts and to engage with the law. We have curated a tailored events program that represents our ethos. From string quartets in intimate settings to art parties, our events are integral to the club.  Our members are given the opportunity to network, bring guests, attend talks, visit artist studios, and much more.

With extensive knowledge of NFT’s (Non fungible tokens) and the ways in which the metaverse is altering the world of Art; we prepare and cultivate these ideas into practice. Our resident artists learn durable and crucial expertise to take with them on their evolving career.  Each member of our team is invaluable in contributing to our legacy.

The LAC believe the arts stimulate imagination helping us to experience the world in new ways, challenging our beliefs, and encouraging open-ended thinking. By promoting the value of wellbeing, we contribute to a more positive working environment.

We invite artists and lawyers to present their work in an exhibition. Our ethos is to inspire artists and members to share their discussions surrounding the Law and Art. The exhibit also allows the artist to present their artwork to the public in a relaxing environment with the hope of gaining professional connections which may further their career. We believe that art can challenge beliefs and encourage open-ended thinking; it is a powerful vehicle for change.

Situated in the centre of Birmingham’s artistic quarter: our arts hub provides an innovative space for Artists. By promoting the value of wellbeing, we contribute to a more positive working environment. We also invite local musicians to perform live at our exhibitions. Birmingham has a rich history of the arts and, as a club, we want to expand that culture by introducing new artists to the scene.

The Law and the Arts, generally, are parallel to one another. The role of a Lawyer is to bring forth evidence and clarity to a case while the role of an Artist is to impose metaphor and inference within their Art. However, when combined, the two-produce intelligent art that is rooted in discussion and meaning.

Our club is unique in that it offers a platform for these contrasting industries to create and share art.
